Concerns or Complaints

We place a high value on our partnerships with parents and the wider community. Where issues arise, or where there are concerns, we are keen to resolve these as quickly and positively as possible

The school has a wide range of staff available to help students, or their parents and carers, with any issues or concerns that might arise

Tutors

Your child's Tutor should be contacted in the first instance. They can help you with routine issues and general concerns.  To get in touch with one of them please email the School at secretary@uffculmeschool.bep.ac or telephone 01884 840458 .

Alternatively you can email them directly - details can be found on our Staff page

Heads of Year

If you have an issue regarding learning, achievement or academic progress, please contact your child's Head of Year.

Also if you have any concerns around behaviour, bullying, wellbeing or pastoral care, the Head of Year is the best person to speak with

Class Teachers or Heads of Department

Teachers and Heads of Department should be contacted if you have concerns around your child’s learning and progress in a specific subject, or have queries around the homework they are being set.

I-SEND Team

The I-SEND Team support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs, children who are looked after or have previously been looked after, and those with particular medical needs where additional support is required.

The Team is led by Ms Dobbinson (Assistant Headteacher – SEND & Inclusion) and can be contacted by emailing the School on dobbinsonk@uffculmeschool.bep.ac or
telephone 01884 840458.

Senior Staff

The Senior Leadership Team, Headteacher or CEO should be contacted for issues not resolved satisfactorily after all other channels have been followed.
